宁夏和兴碳基材料有限公司成立于2012年5月，注册资金4000万元，主要从事碳化硅等耐火、耐磨碳基材料的生产和销售。公司于2012年5月在青铜峡新材料基地投资2.2亿元建设年产10000吨碳化硅碳基制品建设项目，并且响应政府的政策，实现了当年建设，当年生产。经过和兴人的努力，和兴公司现在是吴忠市和青铜峡市的重点企业。本企业在生产规模，生产安全、节能、环保等工作，经济效益在全区和全国同行业中名列前茅。2017年被自治区经信委和行业协会树立为全区生产安全、节能、环保“标杆企业”。
2014年企业通过了ISO9001：2008质量体系认证，并且取得了欧盟REACH认证，拥有自己进出口权。化验设备齐全，配备粒度检测设备7台、马弗炉3台、电子分析天平3台，烘箱2台等配套检测设备。化验人员9名，全部为大专以上学历，并经过了CIQ宁夏检测中心培训合格后上岗。对产品的化学分析根据国际标准“GB/T 3045-2003”严格执行，对原料以及产品进行严格的质量把关。
我公司主要装备有容量为32500KVA和35000KVA两条碳化硅生产，配套采用110KVGIS供电系统。该系统具有安全可靠、低损耗和功率转化率高，占地面积小等特点。公司目前配备了完善的产品深加工设备，可以根据客户的要求加工各种段砂、粒度砂、细粉、微粉产品。
2016年经过一年的边生产边实验边对比分析，攻坚克难，解决了困扰碳化硅行业结晶筒“鼓包”的老大难问题。在碳化硅协会的组织带领下，全区和邻近省区的碳化硅企业到我公司进行参观、考察、学习。
我公司解决“鼓包”现象的经验，得到了推广应用，进一步提高了企业在同行业中的影响力。
2016年本公司又引进先进技术和河南一家企业共同投资新建的碳化硅精细加工生产线已投入正式生产。在碳化硅向更“精细”加工的目标，又迈上了新的台阶，每年新增产值1.5亿。
公司产品已经出口到美国、欧洲、日本、韩国、南非、东南亚、中国台湾等国家和地区，公司正按照“团结奋进、追求卓越”的企业管理理念同客户开展全方位的合作。公司产品目前在国内外市场上的美誉度越来越高。对于国内市场，公司产品主要用于工程陶瓷材料行业，同中钢集团、濮耐新材、汉江集团、武钢耐火等国内知名企业建立了良好的合作关系。对于国际市场，我们对客户的选择已经由出口低端的冶金材料转向铸造材料、耐火材料行业、由传统的美国市场转向欧洲市场，产品的附加值有了较大幅度的提高。我们已经成为德国蒂森克虏伯公司、德国诺玛、瑞典国家耐火、比利时赛尔玛公司的主要供应商。
